What foundation is good for acne-pron skin?
i have a friend who swears by bare essentials
i worked as a skin care and makeup consultant for 2 years... i think that ncome dual finish is nice because it helps absorb oil and has a bit of coverage without looking makeup-y. most lines make a line for acne prone skin. if you go to the dept. store and ask one of the consultants, they can help you. clinique has an acne solutions line that has some good concealers which have benzoyl peroxice and/or salycilic acid to help heal the blemishes.
also, neutrogena at the drugstore for something less expensive
also clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment (it's in a silver tube and you can get it at the drug store) has always been amazing for me in clearing up spots really quickly. it's a clear gel and you can wear it overnight and under makeup during the day.
be sure when choosing any foundation/powderto choose OIL FREE formulas and if you're looking for a moisturizer (all skin types need hydration) choose a gel or lotion... NOT a cream! always ask if it's oil free!
