How long should you apply Aquaphor to a new tattoo?

No need to worry but it is time to do lotion now. The problem with any preparation that has petroleum jelly like Aquaphor is that when you use it for extended periods of time, it actually blocks moisture - this is why people have so much trouble with lip glosses - they become slaves to it because it feels great to put them on, but they block moisture, so they feel dry quickly, put more on...and the cycle continues.
