Will i have to get my lip re-pierced ?

i have to start this with a word of warning, borrowing jewellery for such a new piercing or any piercing is dangerous. hep c can live for up to 30 days outside the body as just one example of what u could be introducing to your body thru the newly pierced skin. be careful and take the notion that open wounds can be dangerous seriously. but back to your question, i dont think u can pierce directly over an old piercing anyway cause of the scar tissue, but if u get to the studio sooner rather than later it might just be that u have to stretch the piercing a bit when u put proper jewellery back in again, so it might be a bit uncomfortable but should be ok.
